Payouts to Etherium miners with no commissions

In October, the 2Miners team launched a new payout system for Etherium pools. Thanks to it, rewards for mining ETH can go for free, i.e. without any commissions. The system itself is very easy to use.

Right now, the cost of gas on the Etherium network is very high, which essentially benefits miners. Still, they get increased rewards for “fat” blocks in ETH. Specifically, in October we came across a reward of 187.5 ETH for a block on the PPLNS pool and 194.3 ETH for a block on the solo pool.

October will also be remembered for blocks with a large MEV reward, with all of it distributed among miners. For example, you can see MEVs of 2, 5 and even 16.8 ETH below. Information on the blocks can be found at the link.

All 2Miners miners can not only earn rewards as in the screenshot above, but also save on commissions for payouts. The 2Miners pool now supports three options for payouts – in ETH, BTC and NANO.

Right now 2Miners is offering ETH payments for $12, BTC for $0.05, and NANO for free.

Many miners have already switched to BTC or NANO payout system. As of today, 7698 miners are being rewarded for mining Etherium in bitcoins, while 7466 miners have chosen NANO. That said, there are a total of 56,000 people on the ETH pool, meaning almost a third of miners have switched to alternative payment methods. And all this – in less than three weeks!

Unlocking LHR cards

The 2Miners team is constantly watching for trends and updates in the world of hardware and software. In October, the pool representatives published two articles on how to maximize your hash rate and profitability of so called Lite Hash Rate (LHR) video cards.

  • How to increase hash rate in mining. Method to unlock LHR video cards with GMiner;
  • T-Rex Miner unlocks 100 percent hash rate of Nvidia LHR video cards – truth or fiction?

The most current versions of the mining software are traditionally available in a quick-start archive, the password for which is 2miners without dots or capital letters.

It also has .bat files ready to go. All you need to do here is enter your wallet address and start mining.

In November the pool representatives will write and publish more materials about LHRs.

FiroPoW – new FIRO mining algorithm

The hardfork on the Firo network took place on October 26, 2021.

It also introduced a new mining algorithm called FiroPoW. It is based on the ProgPoW algorithm, which was originally created for the Etherium network, but is unlikely to be activated there anymore.

Here are the settings for miners. For Nvidia video cards we recommend T-Rex. Here is an example bat file for it.

t-rex -a firopow -o stratum+tcp://firo.2miners.com:8181 -u aPGQDJrbcGGpThJ5xLT3SPhVftVsgqcvxR.RIG_ID -p x

For AMD devices choose TeamRedMiner. Here is the bat file for it.

teamredminer.exe -a firopow -o stratum+tcp://firo.2miners.com:8181 -u aPGQDJrbcGGpThJ5xLT3SPhVftVsgqcvxR.RIG_ID -p x

More details on the fork are available in the article at the link.

The FiroPoW algorithm resembles KawPoW, which is used to mine Ravencoin. At the same time to calculate the profitability of FIRO mining you can traditionally use 2CryptoCalc's profitability calculator.
