March for 2Miners: new payout system for ETC miners and huge Etherium blocks
It’s a good time to take stock of March 2022 in the life of the 2Miners mining pool. First of all, the month was remembered for the launch of a new rewards system for Ethereum Classic miners, who can now receive rewards in Bitcoin. Last year, a similar innovation appeared for Ethereum miners – they can receive payouts in both Bitcoin and NANO. March also brought great returns for ETH enthusiasts. Here are the details.

Reward in bitcoins for ETC miners
The 2Miners pool team has launched a new remuneration system for the Ethereum Classic pool. With it you can mine ETC and get paid in BTC and the scheme works for both PPLNS and SOLO pools.
You don’t need any complicated settings to run it. All you need is to add your Bitcoin wallet address for payments in ETC mining bat-file.
How to get bitcoins for mining Ethereum Classic (ETC)? Detailed guide.
The innovation is identical to the Bitcoin payout system for Ethereum miners that was launched on 2Miners in October 2021. The only difference is the number of options supported. Rewards for ETH miners are available in BTC and NANO, while ETC enthusiasts can receive rewards exclusively in BTC.

More than 250 miners have joined the new system in a few days. Now they receive BTC instead of ETC and accumulate bitcoins.
News of the mining pool for Etherium
Record of active miners
2Miners mining pool has reached the milestone of the first one hundred thousand active miners on the ETH pool. At this point, more than 116,000 miners are mining Ethers. At the same time, 2Miners pool has more than 155 thousand users in total.
Maximum price drop
The 2Miners team has lowered the maximum gas price for Etherium pools to 80 gwei. This means that it will cost users of standard ETH addresses no more than $4 per transaction.
The reduction in the maximum cost has been made possible by a general drop in the cost of gas on the Etherium network over the past week. Consequently, the pool now leaves less ETH on balances for each payout, although this only plays a role for those Etherium miners that receive rewards in ETH. Read more.
Huge blocks
March 2022 will be remembered by the Etherium miners on the 2Miners pool with very profitable blocks. They received extra rewards almost every day. Especially notable were these blocks at 201.8 ETH and 51.4 ETH and a nice series of blocks at 41.3 ETH and 60.4 ETH that went almost one after another.
The last pool blocks are displayed on the corresponding page.
Cryptocurrency nodes update
In March, the 2Miners team updated the nodes for three cryptocurrencies – ZEN, GRIN and ERGO. The updates have touched the PPLNS and SOLO pools.
The software versions in question are.
- ZEN 3.1.0
- GRIN v5.1.2-83e8ec6
- Ergo Protocol Reference Client 4.0.25
