Note that this isn’t the first time Reeves has mentioned the topic of digital assets. In a December 2021 interview with The Verge, the actor admitted that he owns some cryptocurrencies because a friend bought them for him. What exactly those coins were, Keanu did not elaborate.

I think the ideas and principles behind independent currency are something amazing. If you criticise crypto or its volatility, it only becomes more attractive at the expense of its protection.

However, critics of coins and tokens for their volatility somehow forget that there is a downside to this property, which allows investors to make good money.
