February for 2Miners: node updates and halving rewards on the Flux network
The first of the month is the traditional time for the 2Miners mining pool to sum up the previous month’s results. Today we look back at what happened to the cryptocurrency mining niche during February. There aren’t many outcomes given the dull bear market phase, but there are some anyway.
Resolving problems with the FIRO wallet
In February, the 2Miners team encountered problems with the FIRO wallet, which among other things led to delays in the payment of rewards. Thanks to the involvement of project developers the problem has been solved. Now all the payments are in normal mode, well, the debts have been paid in full.

FLUX block rewards
The FLUX halving event took place in February. As a result of the event, the reward per block for miners was reduced from 37.5 FLUX to 18.75 FLUX. More information about this is written on the project page on GitHub.

Taking this into account, from now on all miners will receive a lower reward than it was before. Cryptocurrency mining yield calculator 2CryptoCalc has already been updated to take this event into account.
Cryptocurrency nodes update
The 2Miners team updated quite a few nodes on various cryptocurrency networks in February. This makes coin mining for pool miners as smooth as possible.
Digital Asset Miner
Here’s a list of the updates.
CKB 0.108.0-rc2 fixes some minor bugs, eliminates an error calculating the block filter hash, and also fixes transaction retransmissions.
ZEC 5.4.1 contains some hotfixes.
ERGO 5.0.7 adds support for additional indices, fixes the mempool inconsistency and contains other updates.
Zelcash version v6.1.0-782daee was a required update. It includes Flux rename fixes, RPC optimizations, performance improvements, snapshots and RPC call updates, as well as numerous processing optimizations and bug fixes.
